Following in the footsteps of his brother Clément, who operated a pottery workshop in Golfe-Juan in the southern French commune of Vallauris, Delphin Massier introduced lustre decoration marketed under the name “Reflet metallique”. The dating is confirmed by a dandelion motif vase of identical shape and marked 1900 in private U.S. collections.
